my number one fan, brian wang, complains that my blog is boring. So I shall do a quick update on my life happenings. Apparently he's interested. So, the last time I stopped was, before mid years. Which did indeed seem daunting with only 3 weeks left to study after our nationals. So it became hard core study fest for me. And just in case you are imagining some intensive closet mugger, I was nothing like that.
Buttt, I did try, you gotta give credit for that. Ask around, I was turning down SOCCER and LAN to go home after school. I admit, I admit, not all that time at home was spent studying, but it was a good effort.
And then soon enough, came the cursed mid-years. First day, lang arts and ihs. We went in with nervous faces and solemn eyes, and ended the day with hurting hands. Or so you would think. We went in joking and our mood still rather 4.11-esque. And we came out shouting, 'saugah-time!' (or at least, thats how teck hong said it. and his voice, quite loud).
But of course, we did study. Like, on the days themselves. Like hardcore last minute memorising of prepared essays on total war on 7th and anxious questions about differentiation of trigo identities on 15th. It was all too late though, and many came out lamenting about failing. (e.g. ben soh, wei ren, etc. etc.) Though as always they were soon replaced by 'soccer!!!! Go take the court, I have the ball!' or something along those lines.
And then finally, the blessed 10.15am of 15th of May, after we have moved tables and dumped them (literally) in our beloved classroom. The 15 were all set and ready for The Cage. But spoilers who weren't invited came and kpkp. But whatever, the 15 stuck. The Cage turned out to be an awesome 2 hours of soccer-time, which however made us sleepy for Angels and Demons, which was good too.
The first 2 days of post-exams have been rather slack. Monday was a no-lesson, plenty-of-soccer day. And today was a no-lesson, plenty-of-soccer day. Some papers have been reviewed though, and I think I'm doing rather alright thus far.
But now training is back, kicking off excellently with a wonderful attendance of 1 by the sec 4s on saturday. Oh oh and, I WAS THE ONE. (thanks, guys) In any case, it was a slack program of 10km easy. Not so for the people on monday, who had to do a torturous 5by2. Though I didn't ((: And today was mainly teaching sec 1s (after the stupid chinese thing) which is such a chore.
Ok. Done.
